How can our society gain spiritual awareness if we are forced to listen to the jargon spat out by these so-called "divine ministers"? We are all-but dissolving our spiritual power. This is a point that Alan Moore talks about in his documentary Mindscape of Alan Moore while simultaneously defending his belief and study of Magick. Pagan beliefs (and the like) place the divine power within the individual. He/she CAN have direct contact with the divine through dream visions, voices...etc. But nowadays, if someone, let's say a Christian, says..."I had a vision from God!!! He told me not to eat cucumbers anymore!!!"...everyone would think he/she was full of shit and crazy. But why do we think he/she is crazy??? Oh yeah, because we only believe that priests, preachers, and those people from the Bible are the only ones capable of communicating with the divine energy. This is the way that we dissolve our spiritual power. We give it away to leaders and we become lazy...We think to ourselves, "I am not special. I cannot communicate with the DIVINE." But this is not true, we are all capable of it. We are all capable of self-fulfillment through this. Through meditation and contemplation, we gain insight into our creativity. Through our creative works, we use it. We reach into our souls and manifest something TOTALLY created from within it. The best example of this would be that of an artistic genius's artwork. It is pure originality. Now, if each individual could use this "pure originality" to do work for society, to fulfill himself...just think of where we could be.
